Carter: on my next birthday how big will I be?
Me: Five, and my heart is going to break open and spill on the floor and I will melt into sadness because my baby will be big.
Carter: no, that won't happen.
Me: how are you going to prevent it?
Carter: I going to grow taller than you someday, but I'll still be your kid. And I'll always let you love on me...

April's goal.

So far in 2012, I have kept up my resolution of making and meeting a goal every month. My goal for this month is to run a 5k in 30 minutes or less. I think this is a do-able. Also I am going to do the burpee challenge through the end of April. I have been slacking on my workouts since I have been visiting so much, but I WANT to get back on track. So, once we go.

Carter's self portrait.

This is a Cleveland tradition, and I am so glad we got to share it with friends and family.  Spring is a great time to be hanging out in the Cleve.

Like you have ever seen anything more beautiful than this:

Ellie randomly decided a few days ago, that she is done with diapers. I think this is it. I think she (finally) is going to take potty training seriously.
She has been ready for a while, but she takes inhalers several times a day, and she drinks a lot. It is really hard for her to hold it with as much as she drinks, but she is definitely showing all the signs.

As much as I am SO READY to be done with diapers, this is it... my last baby, growing out of baby things. *sniffle, sniffle

PS. Contrary to what everyone says, girls are way harder to potty train. First off, their will power. Secondly SITTING them on public toilets, and letting them put their little hands on the seat. YUCK.

These kids completely rock my world.
